WABI-SABI #1
Wabi-Sabi (侘寂収集) is an art series available as NFTs.
The concept is inspired in the wabi-sabi traditional Japanese aesthetics, a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature.
Making a comparison between nature and design as a discipline this series uses imperfect textures over perfect figures. Paint strokes, shades and discoloration brake the purity of a geometrical shape. Wabi-Sabi not only honors its origins but understands the world accepting and admiring beauty as such.
