The structure took the form of a monumental reflective black pyramid, housing two contrasting interior environments: one built around suspended sheets of sound using acrylic transducers, creating a tactile and spatial audio experience; the other driven by a sound-reactive laser system directly connected to Donald Glover’s live performance, translating music into light in real time.

Laura Niubó led the design direction and developed the commissioned digital artworks that defined the large-scale entrance portals. These consisted of a mirrored architectural façade and an LED screen environment projecting a series of original moving-image compositions. The artworks explored black-and-white elements drawn from nature—rock, water, and sky—expressed through organic textures, fluid motion, and ephemeral forms, combined with gradual color transitions that subtly emerged over time.

Conceived as a visual extension of Childish Gambino’s sonic universe, the works created a dialogue between darkness and illumination, stillness and transformation. The result was a threshold experience that prepared visitors emotionally and sensorially before entering the installation—blurring the boundaries between art, performance, and spatial design, and inviting them into his world.
