MATERIALS, PROCESS & SUSTAINABILITY

RUGS

The rugs are designed in Los Angeles and made in Portugal. Each rug is woven from a luxurious blend of New Zealand wool and vegan silk using the hand tufting technique.

The rugs are meticulously handcrafted using natural and eco-friendly materials, such as wool and vegan silk. The rug production process uses environmentally friendly non-toxic solutions and recycles 99% of the water used. The rugs are woven with natural dyes.

Bamboo and eucalyptus silk are the two vegan silks used and they are cruelty-free alternative to traditional silk. The rugs are woven using 100% organic bamboo/eucalyptus fiber and Oeko-Tex certified dyes.

The artist’s manufacturer Beiriz Atelier in Europe combines a wealth of experience, the finest natural materials and a team of skilled rugs makers. Beiriz Atelier is certified in materials and production with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, using exclusively locally sourced materials and production.
