SUPER BLUE BLOOD MOON
A fine art print series inspired in a total lunar eclipse abstracting its shapes and its colors: white, blue, red and black.
A total eclipse is the natural phenomena of three lunar events that take place on the same day every hundred years: a Super Moon, a Blue Moon and a Blood Moon.
Each piece captures one stage of the eclipse expressing it through a precise use of color and form.
NEW MOON
The first lunar phase. The Moon is about to set up in the sky, and the sky will get darker.
PENUMBRA
First contact: the space of partial illumination. The Moon enters the penumbra and reveals its shadow.
ORBIT
The Moon leaves penumbra swinging softly in its orbit.
RAY
The beginning of the visible. The Moon surprises with a new light.
SURPASS
The Moon is reaching its final journey. The sky will change its color. The eclipse is almost completed.
CONTACT
The Moon appears up in the sky big, covered in reddish tint.
BLOOD MOON
The sky turns red. The light travels from space to us, a new energy reaches the Earth.
CLIMAX
A final Super Blue Blood Moon: A Blue Moon, a Blood Moon and a Super Moon all three on a total eclipse.
